UPND SAYS MINISTRY REALIGNMENT WILL SUPPORT GROW ZAMBIA AGENDA

United Party for National Development (UPND) National Management Committee member Phinias Kalenga says the realignment of Government ministries will support the Grow Zambia Agenda and help advance the country’s national development goals.

This follows the National Assembly’s approval of a motion to increase the number of Government ministries from 25 to 30.

The motion was moved by Vice President Mutale Nalumango following President Hakainde Hichilema’s request for parliamentary approval to establish, merge and dissolve ministries.

In an interview with 5FM News, Mr. Kalenga said the realignment is expected to improve the implementation of Government programmes and contribute to job creation.
