79 Arrested In Lusaka Over Suspected Cybercrime Network, Possible Human Trafficking Probed

Seventy-nine people have been apprehended in Lusaka during a joint security operation targeting a suspected cybercrime network. The Zambia Police Service, DEC, Department of Immigration, Zambia Cyber Security Agency and other security institutions said the operation was conducted on August 23, 2026 at Evana Estates in New Kasama, following a tip-off from the public.
