Government Releases K16.1 Billion In August
The Government has released 16.1 billion Kwacha in August 2026 to support public service delivery, debt obligations, social protection programmes and ongoing infrastructure development. Of the amount, 7.6 billion Kwacha was directed towards debt servicing and the dismantling of domestic arrears, while 4.1 billion Kwacha was released for the Public Service wage bill and related obligations.
