ZIA Urges Political Parties to Unveil Clear Housing, Infrastructure Plans Before August 13 Polls

The Zambia Institute of Architects is calling on all political parties to present clear and actionable blueprints for housing and infrastructure ahead of the August thirteenth general elections.

ZIA President Musunka Silungwe says successful governments are ultimately judged by their ability to deliver resilient infrastructure and decent housing for all citizens.

Mr. Silungwe has urged aspiring leaders to engage local professionals to formulate realistic, homegrown development solutions.

The institute has also recommended a structural review of markets and bus stations, alongside restrictions on street vending to protect public health and safety.
