Northern Province Acting Permanent Secretary Beauty Undi-Phiri says the Government has recorded significant development across the province since 2021, with increased Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocations enabling communities to benefit from various infrastructure and social development projects.

Ms. Undi-Phiri said the increased CDF has facilitated the construction of schools, health facilities, markets, street lights and other community projects, stressing that development should be prioritized over politics.

She was speaking when she featured on broadcast program in Kasama District yesterday.

The acting PS cited Nsama District as one of the beneficiaries of CDF-funded projects, including street lights, a mortuary, theatre, maternity wing and a market shelter equipped with water and ablution facilities.
