Patriotic Front (PF)  Tonse Pamodzi Alliance, Deputy Secretary General Sylvia Chalikosa has alleged that the current campaign environment is not providing a level playing field for all political parties ahead of the August 13 general elections.

Speaking on Tuesday’s edition of The Burning Issue, Ms. Chalikosa claimed that campaign regulations are being applied inconsistently, making it not easy for some political parties to conduct campaign activities while limiting opportunities for others.

She argued that the situation has placed opposition political parties at a disadvantage in their efforts to engage with voters.

In the meantime; Ms. Chalikosa attributed the large crowds attending Tonse Pamodzi Alliance campaign rallies to the alliance’s strong grassroots support and community empowerment programs, which she said continue to resonate with the electorate.
