THE EVENING EXPERIENCE

Daddy O (Kalenga Nkonge) has over 10 year experience in the media. Worked with various radio stations such as QFM and Lusaka Music radio. A qualified journalist by training and experience in PR and Public speaking. Hosts the Evening Experience on 5FM. Monday to Thursday. 18hrs to 21hrs. My shows are a journey and, as the names suggests, an experience in musical bliss. I play soul music, both classic and new. This includes rare R&B, Neo Soul and more. Then there's Jazz. Its jazz like you won't get it anywhere else. From the old cats such as Coltrane, Mingus, Monk to the new young bloods like Robert Glasper, Adam Blackstone, Yussef Dayes. You're always been introduced to new artists and music. My interests are music, of course. I love to read. Mostly non fiction and biographies. I love movies. Thrillers and horrors. I am passionate about photography, which I practice. I specialize in documentary and also as an art form. Fun fact: I can't stand so-called 'motivational books'. They absolutely bore me.
