President Hichilema announces end of his tour of districts

President Hakainde Hichilema has said his meeting in Mwansabombwe district Luapula Province over the weekend marked the end of his tour of districts across all 10 provinces.

President Hichilema says government will continue investing in key economic and social programmes in Mwansabombwe, Luapula Province.

Addressing residents in the district, the President said priority areas include road infrastructure, safe and clean drinking water, health facilities, and expanded social support programmes.

He has specifically cited more social cash transfers and more cash-for-work opportunities as part of efforts to put money in people’s pockets and improve livelihoods.
