The Government has digitized the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) system in a move aimed at improving transparency and accountability in the management of the program.

Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Nicholas Phiri says the digital platform will enhance the monitoring and tracking of loan facilities issued under the Constituency Development Fund.

Mr. Phiri says the initiative is expected to strengthen oversight, improve efficiency and ensure beneficiaries are properly tracked throughout the loan repayment process.

He was speaking during a media briefing recently.
