CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION ANNOUNCES NEW HEALTH WORKER RECRUITMENT EXERCISE

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced that it will begin a new nationwide recruitment exercise for health workers, with applications set to open following the publication of an advertisement on 14 July 2026.

Speaking during a media briefing, Civil Service Commission Chairperson Dr Choolwe Beyani said the recruitment, being conducted in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, is aimed at strengthening healthcare service delivery while ensuring a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.

Dr Beyani said the recruitment advertisement will be published in the Zambia Daily Mail and the Times of Zambia on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, and repeated on Thursday, 16 July 2026, to ensure wider public access.

He said suitably qualified Zambians will be invited to apply for various positions in different health sector cadres and will be required to indicate the district where they wish to be appointed.
