Attorney General says law reform key to national development

Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha has noted that law reform is an important part of national development, as it addresses several areas of the country’s development.

Mr Kabesha has added that fundamental aspects such as the economy and other sectors are dynamic; hence, laws have to align with these changes.

He further says Government has taken a keen interest in ensuring that citizens have access to justice.

Mr Kabesha was speaking when he officiated at the Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC) Law Reform Talks, held under the theme: “Shaping Zambia’s Future through Law Reform.”

And Zambia Law Development Commission Chairperson Justice Ruth Chibbabbuka continues to create platforms through which such conversations can take place.
