President Hakainde Hichilema and Vice President Mutale Nalumango have officially been sworn in as President and Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, respectively, for the 2026 to 2031 term.
The swearing-in ceremony took place today at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
Speaking after taking the oath of office, President Hichilema pledged to continue serving as a servant President to the people of Zambia.
The Head of State further pledged to lead a government where every voice matters, reaffirming his commitment to inclusive governance.
