The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced consolidated presidential results from 161 of the 226 constituencies.
According to the official results announced by the ECZ at the 2026 National Results Centre at Mulungushi International Conference Centre this afternoon, United Party for National Development (UPND) presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema is leading with 2,057,986 votes.
He is followed by National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate Brian Mundubile, who is in second position with 1,190,920 votes.
The results remain provisional as the ECZ continues with the verification and announcement of results from the remaining 65 constituencies.
