Ecz Announces Arrival Schedule For 2026 Election Ballot Papers
The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says ballot papers for the 2026 General Election will begin arriving in Lusaka from Dubai on Sunday, 26th July 2026.
In a statement, ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager Patricia Luhanga said the first consignment is expected to arrive at 12:15 hours through Kenneth Kaunda International Airport aboard a chartered aircraft.
Ms. Luhanga said a total of six chartered flights will deliver the ballot papers, with one flight arriving each day at 12:15 hours from Sunday, 26th July to Friday, 31st July 2026.
She added that the verification of the ballot papers by stakeholders will commence on Monday, 27th July 2026, at 10:00 hours at the ECZ Silverest Warehouse.
