Forty-two students are currently undergoing skills training at the Bauleni Skills Centre in Lusaka Central Constituency under the Constituency Development Fund.

Lusaka City Council Public Relations Manager Chola Mwamba says the centre was constructed at a cost of more than 847 thousand kwacha using CDF and is located within the premises of Bauleni Secondary School to provide accessible and affordable skills training.

Ms. Mwamba says the 42 students, who are all registered with TEVETA, includes eight males and 34 females pursuing a certificate in Tailoring and Designing.

She says the Constituency Development Fund has also financed the construction of a one-by-three high-rise classroom block and a water reticulation system at Bauleni Secondary School, improving the learning environment.
